On June 11, I traveled to Scotland Neck for two great reasons...the first, to celebrate my sister-in-law Tommie's birthday, and the second, to tune the home piano of Shawn Bledsoe, who lives just down the street from both my sisters-in-law and my mother-in-law!

The Baldwin Acrosonic spinet tuned up very nicely, and I had a good visit with Shawn's son John, who is a student at ECU and has a lot of musical talent and experience.

Tommie's cake, a Butterfinger cake made by her sister/my wife Mary Kay, was very well received, and a good time was had by all! Happy birthday, Tommie!!
