A Great Week in the Shenandoah Valley!

A lot has happened since my last post from Massanutten.

After a rainy, overcast, laid-back Tuesday, we hit the ground running on Wednesday with a FlingGolf session. I've been wanting to do this for awhile, but the extreme heat of previous years has kept me from it. This year, with the high 70's temperatures up here, I went with my brother-in-law and the grand-boys, and we had a big time! Nine holes riding, and it was just the right amount of exercise.

Thursday our same group minus the youngest one hiked the Kaylor Knob trail at Massanutten, a moderate, three-mile round-trip hike at Massanuten Mountain's ridge. We started at around 2000 feet elevation, and hiked to right at 3000 feet elevation...pretty impressive! And...we made it back after a four-hour trip!

We're back home now, but it was a wonderful vacation!
