Busy in Beaufort County!

On October 23, I spent time in Pinetown and Chocowinity with piano tuning opportunities.

First, I finished the home church piano of Phyllis Boyd, but only after they removed a six-foot long chicken snake from in front of the pulpit! "I don't like spiders and snakes!"

Next, I visited the home of Linda Braziel to assess her home piano, a Kimball. It's in pretty good shape, but I recommended a tuning someday soon and gave them my contact information. She plays for Old Ford Church, where her husband Reggie is the pastor, so maybe my "Get in Tune for God" ministry can help out at the church!

Finally, I went to Cypress Landing to tune the home piano of Colleen Bucher, one of the students in my Zoom Piano class I'm teaching at Beaufort County Community College. This past Tuesday I had my first class, and it went well, but I could tell her piano (a Whitley by Kimball) needed some work. She agreed to have me tune it, and it went well, but it will need one more visit.

Have a great Halloween, and remember to contact me for all your piano service needs!
