On August 26, I traveled to Swan Quarter, NC to tune the activities piano at the Mattamuskeet Senior Center. Upon arriving, the directors told me that they were soon to get a different piano donated to them. I told them that I would come back once the piano was in place.

I was able to contact a client in the area, and she graciously agreed to a tuning for her home piano. The Hallet spinet tuned up nicely, and she was very pleased. Serendipity!

After a beautiful drive across Lake Mattamuskeet and a quick lunch stop at C & C Groceries in Fairfield, I arrived at Sandy Acres Free Will Baptist Church to tune the sanctuary and fellowship hall pianos. Both the Sohmer & Co. console and the Kimball spinet tuned up nicely, and it was a successful day!
